The KRC and the IRA have decided not to hold an annual banquet this year. There will be an AGM with the tentative date of Nov. 3 at 1pm in Kelowna. All clubs are expected to send a representative and commit to dates for next year’s races, and to submit nominations for Runners of the Year.
We will be sending out the series prizes to each club. Club members receiving IRA awards will receive these from their clubs.(possibly at their respective Christmas parties) If you qualify for an award and are not a member of a club, please contact Bill Stephens at firstname.lastname@example.org by October 20 for the Road Series and November 15 for the Cross Country series.. We have had several unclaimed awards the past few years, and this year will not be ordering awards for non – club members unless you contact us.
We encourage all runners to attend the AGM and make their opinions known so we can serve you better.
