Social Media Manager

The Interior Running Association is a non-profit organization. All members of the IRA executive, volunteer their expertise and time to support great running events in the Okanagan Interior. The Interior Road and XC Series are growing and we are in need of someone to manage/coordinate our Social Media.

The successful volunteer would:
– Create posts for reach race for Instagram & Facebook (a week to a few weeks ahead of race date) to remind our audience about online registration, registration dates, race location & general route details. etc.
– Create another post the day before the race to remind people to sign up & of registration deadline
– Share post-race results link & online photo album link for each race
– Share to our social media stories – when we are tagged in other’s stories, reminders for race sign up dates, etc.
– Reply to comments and messages on Facebook and Instagram

  1. Hi Cindy, I’m wondering if you have filled the Social Media Manager position yet? I would be interested in helping out if you still need someone. My husband and I attend some of the IRA races throughout the year, whichever ones our schedules allow for, and would be happy to help where I can.
